Frequently Asked Questions

“Can I stop in to see what items are available for purchase?”

We would love to set up an appointment as we are not open to the public just for appointments and pick ups.

I am considered a custom-order bakery, which means I take orders in advance that will be picked up at a specific time and date!

“I have never ordered with Hailey’s Sweets and Treats before, where do I begin?”

I recommend you first take a look at my website and Facebook page. This will you give some ideas and inspiration for style and product. Once you do that, it is best to email me at haileysweetsandtreats@gmail.com (visit the contact page). To get an estimate I need ALL of the following:

Date and time of pick up, Amount To Feed, Dessert Choice, Theme/Design, Flavors (cake, frosting, and filling if you desire) buttercream and any pictures would be great to send along.

To confirm order full payment is required prior to pick up upon the invoice due date.

“How far in advance should I place my order?”

The general rule of thumb is a minimum of four weeks prior to your celebration. However, during the busy summer months and wedding season, our capacity is quickly filled each week, and you should think about placing your order a month prior to your celebration. Please remember that Hailey’s Sweets and Treats works on a first come, first serve basis.  Occasionally we can fit in last minute orders; depending on my weekly schedule.

“What if I placed a deposit but want to cancel my order?”

A full refund is given if cancelled before two weeks, anything after 2 weeks is not refunded.

“Where is Hailey’s Sweets and Treats Located?”

I am located in the backside of the Olde Towne Mall on the lower level – 20 south Main Street Suite 1 Janesville, WI 53545

“Do you deliver?”

We deliver to weddings and corporate accounts. On limited occasions, (schedule permitting), we can make local deliveries for a delivery fee. Once the cake is delivered to the location and set up on a solid level table or base in a cool, dry room (or refrigerator, if indicated), we are not responsible for any damages that may incur. If you decide to pick up and set up the cake or any other product of Hailey’s Sweets and Treats, you assume all liability and responsibility for thecondition of the cake or product once it leaves Hailey’s Sweets and Treats possession. You are responsible for providing appropriate and secure transportation.

“Is there a minimum amount required when ordering?”

Yes, for cupcakes, cookies, and cake pops at least a minimum of 1 dozen. Also, for convenience purposes it is best if you split up flavors by the dozen or half dozen when ordering.

“I have food allergies, does Hailey’s Sweets and Treats anything wheat, nut, or dairy free?”

We do not bake in an allergen-free environment. We bake in an environment where wheat, dairy and nuts are present in high volumes. Due to the presence of these allergens at our baking facilities, we do not recommend consuming any of our desserts if you are allergic to wheat, nuts or dairy.

“What are your serving sizes for your most popular sizes?”

6 inch – max 10

8 inch – max 15

10 inch – max 25

“How should I store my cake?”

All cakes should be kept in the fridge. Please take them out about 30-40 mins before serving to bring to room temperature. In hotter months it is best to keep them inside vs serving outside as we have no control over the weather / temperature affects on cake.
